The Grahm Lives Podcast

Even though we lived on the same floor of Leavitt Hall at the same time, this fellow Grahmite and I never shared a class. But we did share an interest in the careers that followed our Boston education. After 54 years of long distance admiration, we caught up one-on-one in this fun conversation. Here's Dennis Fleurant, Class of '72.

Another mid-70s alum this week who's dedicating his retirement years to keeping the Grahm Junior College history alive. Sound like anyone else you know? Not only did Grahm Junior College attract some great talent to Kenmore Square, I believe it brought some very nice people to Boston. Everyone I've talked with in the last 11 months has been so giving of their time and stories. This week, especially so, as you'll hear in my conversation with the now unforgettable Todd Nussey, Class of '75.  

Many memorable teachers' names have come up in my conversations with Grahmites over the last 10 months, but I believe the most mentioned has been my guest this week. She began her working career at Grahm and has gone on to make a lasting contribution to American television and film. I know you'll be as impressed as I am with the life story as told by Micki Dickoff.

I had a blast talking with this week's guest about his Grahm days, which he remembers fondly, and his resulting 51 year (so far) career in radio after his stay in Kenmore Hall. He and I have a lot in common in our lives and careers, and it was a real pleasure getting to know Vinnie Kice, Class of '76.

This week, a story of perseverance from the beginning through the end of our guest's love of television broadcasting. He faced many challenges the majority of Grahm grads never had to or would wish to, and he's very candid about his life in the business.
